HOW DO I KNOW IF THE JOB OF A PERFORMING CRUISE SHIP ARTIST IS RIGHT FOR ME?

If you are:

  •  excellent in entertaining guests

  • love to travel the world, easy to make friends and meet other cultures

  • responsible and flexible, with good organizational skills

  • a bubbly personality with a “can do” and “will learn” attitude

  • able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • good in spoken English

  • can work at least one or more months on a cruise ship

This job is NOT for you if you don´t meet the standards above.

HOW DOES THE AUDITION LOOK LIKE?

You will present your skills on online or live audition, depending on the client´s preferences.

The online audition consists of your best digital promotional materials (Live and studio recordings), presentation, and photos submit in your application form.

A live audition is an event set up in a venue where you will have a chance to meet the client(s) live and give your best in your live performed showcase.

Based on your presentation, within a few days, clients will show their interest in artists suitable to their needs.

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF BOOMART ENTERTAINMENT?

  • recruiting and processing applicants for the client,

  • representing best artists

  • mediating in artists booking

  • assisting in work-related document preparation (contracts, health certificates, self-employment status, …

  • assisting in preparation for the workplace (acquaintance with the workplace, house rules, reviewing the repertoire/program, dress code, etc.)

  • if needed, we will assist you in other administrative matter

WHAT IS SELF EMPLOYMENT STATUS?

WHAT IS THE AVERAGE SALARY FOR THE CRUISE SHIP ARTIST?

Basically, you need to be able to issue the invoice for your work onboard.

Croatian residents can use the services of our accountant office for that matter.

The salary is competitive and set by the client.

It will depend on your previous experience in cruise ship performance, your job role, and clients’ offer.

Salary is usually paid to your account in gross amount.

You are obliged to pay your national tax, pension and Agency commision.
