HOW DO I BECOME A SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT?
Once you have an insight in the documentation you need, it will be so much easier and faster to you to become our successful candidate and play onboard!
1. PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL
Before you apply to any agency as a cruise ship entertainer, you will need great promotional materials (your showcase) in digital format and valid personal documents relevant to your employment.

Promotional materials include all of the materials that can present your work in the best possible way and raise the bar in your cruise ship career.

So, let´s see what you will need:

a short presentation of your act or band (.ppt, .PDF or .doc)

high-resolution photos of your act or band (.jpg or .png),
-
playlist of a band (250+ songs) or programme
-
permanent video links of your performance (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.),
-
other links (social media, Youtube channel, etc)
Be creative and entertaining, but keep in mind that materials need to be of good quality and easy to access (no other formats than permanent links will be accepted).

2. LEGAL DOCUMENTS
VALID PASSPORT AND
BANK ACCOUNT
It is essential having your bank account and valid travel document issued by the country of your residence. Please check your government pages for more info about legislative and travel restrictions.
HEALTH CERTIFICATE
Artists will need to have Seafarer´s medical certificate issued by approved seafarer´s doctor and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) issued by the country of your residence.
It is mandatory for all artists onboard and important to keep you safe on your journey.
You will be provided with more info after a successful audition.
SELF-EMPLOYMENT STATUS
This means entertainers need to be able to issue an invoice for their work onboard.

This means artists are eligible to pay their own taxes (if applicable) in their resident country.
